I recently completed this Hunter Star quilt using fabrics with an oriental feel. I quilted it using my own version of the "McTavishing" technique. It was intended as a throw quilt to be used during the holiday season, but I like it so much it will probably stay out all year!

| "Building Block" baby quilt. Very colorful design with lots of little "points" for busy fingers. Freehand with lots of stars, moons, trees, etc. Baby's name and date of birth quilted in each of the four borders.

I've done a number of Advent wall hangings over the years for family and friends. This was my first Chanukah hanging. The little "flames" at the bottom of the quilt are used to "light" the candles at the top, marking each day of the Chanukah celebration.
