Different techniques can be used to highlight various aspects of a quilt.

Meander

The meander is the simplest pattern done by machine quilters. But, even something so simple can make a quilt look elegant. And the overall effect is very different depending on the “density” of the pattern (how close the stitching lines are to each other).

Pantograph & Edge-to-Edge

Samples of customer quilts completed using pantograph and freehand patterns. I have a large number of patterns available–they give your quilt a wonderful overall tailored look.

Fitzwilliam Library

This large quilt (12′ X 12′) was made to commemorate the renovation of the Fitzwilliam, NH Town Library. Scenes from the Town were created and quilted by community members under the direction of a member of the library staff who obviously loves quilts. I was thrilled be asked to do the machine quilting work for this wonderful project!
